A coach is not
a payroll row.
In most gym software a coach is a record inside one academy: a job title and a rate, typed in by an administrator, invisible anywhere else.
Teach at two academies under that model and you are two unrelated records sharing no identity and no history. Leave one and everything it knew about you goes with it. We inverted it: the identity is yours, and academies attach engagements to it. That is the difference between a database entry and a career.

Free, and it needs nobody’s permission. Any registered person can add a coach profile the same way you would add a role to a professional profile.
+Or claim the one that exists
If an academy added you as a coach before you had an account, ask them for your claim link. Opening it takes ownership of that record instead of starting a second one, so the engagements already on it stay attached to you.
+Get engaged by an academy
An academy invites you as a coach and that engagement appears on your profile. The invitation is what grants access to their members and classes; the profile on its own confers nothing.
+Teach at as many as you like
Coaching somewhere else does not require a second account, a second login or a second reputation. Add an engagement and it sits alongside the others.
